Pi Kappa Alpha - Iota Gamma

To be perfectly honest, I never thought that I would ever join a Fraternity. I didn't know anything about them and wanted to keep it that way. I was contacted by the Pi Kappa Alpha rush chairman during the summer and was asked to go out for dinner. I was called three times and each time I managed to come up with an excuse as to why I couldn't meet with him. Finally at my Summer Advising and Enrollment I met the recruitment chairman and decided to go to dinner. I spent almost two weeks contemplating whether or not Greek Life was for me. Ultimately I decided that I would give Pike a try.

Looking back, joining Pi Kappa Alpha was the best decision of my life. It has developed me both as a leader and as a person.

I am currently a Senior and I have already held the positions of Pledge Class President, Greek Week Chairman, External Vice President, Internal Vice President twice, New Member Educator, Corresponding Secretary, and in my last semester I have been once again elected to the position of New Member Educator.

Through Pike I have developed my skills as a scholar, leader, athlete, and gentleman. The impact that Pi Kappa Alpha has had on my life is hard to express in words. All that I know is that Pike has developed me into the person that I am and dictates the way that I live my life.
